I took a short hike today out at Cougar Mountain near Issaquah. It was a beautiful hike and just what I needed on a gorgeous day like today. There are so many trails out at Cougar Mountain, particularly starting from the Red Town trailhead… if you ever go, take good instructions on which trails you want to take and where to turn when because it’s really easy to get turned around. I actually ended up taking a bit shorter of a hike than I intended because on the loop back I took the wrong trail on my way back. All together, the De Loe Wall loop is an easy 5mi with an ‘okay’ view at the lookout point.
flying my brightkite, tickling my twitter
So, I’m diving into what I think is one of the most exhibitionist of the social networking sites that I’ve seen, brightkite, today so I figured I’d blog about the experience.
The end goal hear is to update my status from one place:
brightkite -> twitter -> facebook
I think brightkite is kinda cool, I’m just curious if it is going to achieve the goal of actually bringing people together who just ‘happen to be around’ each other.
poke… do you want to be my friend?
For all you facebook fiends, this is bloody brilliant:
