it was wonderful

Thank you to everyone for the well wishes & the dancing & the facebook-wall love & the drinks & movies & dinner & cake & everything else this weekend.  You made my day today and yesterday, and pretty much the whole weekend.  :)  Pictures from the Brazil vs. Canada game are here.

I still cook with Cumin

And I still have the Christmas gift she made for me in 2003 on my wall.  I still have this lil plastic tub with a pink lid from a Hindu mission in London that once transported left-overs to my place, and a plastic mug that ended up as mine by similar acts of fate.

grillage

The long weekend wrapped up nicely with a sprinting spree of apartment cleaning on 2 hours of sleep and then several hours of grilling & drinking on the front porch.  There really isn’t much else to say but that, and that the pics are in the usual spot.
