Brooklyn

I landed, navigated the subway, caught Joyce as she was heading up her front stoop… perfect timing… and off to drink and walk we went.  Some cold brew in a couple of insulated mugs, great catch-up conversation, and then a lovely South African dinner.  It was like old times, except new, and it was is great… because this is just day one. :)

On tap for tomorrow: the MET, Katz Deli, The Tenement Museum, and a broadway show.  Bring it on, NYC.  Bring it on.

So, I have to admit that I’m still curious about the ST and what life is bringing her.  I don’t like admitting that.  That curiosity generally manifests itself in the desire to look up her facebook profile or to email her.  You know, just poke in and see what’s going on.  As it turns out, the unfriending of the ST on facebook was a precautionary measure that was very wise in retrospect; it keeps me from poking my nose in where it doesn’t belong.  Gloriously, fb only lets me see her profile photo and that’s what brings me here today…

Victoria & Erica Take Seattle

IMG_1318Erica & Victoria, long time friends of Andy, came to visit for a long weekend last weekend.  There’s just something great about the people who are the closest to the ones you’re the closest with.  They just become automatic friends, and they’re typically the best kind because it’s likely you’re going to love them just as much as your friends do.
