{"id":38,"date":"2008-03-11T20:27:21","date_gmt":"2008-03-12T04:27:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kmwoley.com\/blog\/?p=38"},"modified":"2008-03-12T14:56:06","modified_gmt":"2008-03-12T22:56:06","slug":"albert-bud-bowen-1915-2008","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kmwoley.com\/blog\/albert-bud-bowen-1915-2008\/","title":{"rendered":"Albert &#8220;Bud&#8221; Bowen (1915-2008)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pa passed away peacefully this morning.\u00a0 I really appreciate the thoughts and concern that all of you have shown to me this week.\u00a0 It was a little tough being at work today, particularly because most of my coworkers knew why I was away and would ask how things were, went, etc.\u00a0\u00a0They would say things like &#8220;I hope you had a good trip&#8221; and &#8220;I hope things worked out&#8221;.\u00a0 I appreciate their good intentions, but it&#8217;s hard to say &#8220;he died&#8221; without making them feel bad for asking.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m doing alright, however. I would rather be with my family right now, but that&#8217;s just not possible so I&#8217;m dealing with it other ways. Mostly I&#8217;ve been thinking a lot about the life that Pa led, and how much he meant to our family and his friends.
